Despite recent poor form the Mens 3rds couldn't get the result they needed to go back on top of the division. The team defended well all through again Navan 1sts at Kings Hospital, and especially Alan in goals who again kept the team in the game in the first half. The team even survived 2 sin-binnings : One for Tim King doing a decent impression of a lumber-jack and another for Dan Griffin who had some questions over the umpires watch and whether it had stopped or not! Eventually Corinthians fell to a short corner and a team goal and did not create many chances up front to tie things up. The 3rds remain second in the league but have fallen into the chasing pack.
