At least the sequence is broken, a win is a win. And in the cup to boot.

A slight change in the personnel from the previous day did make a difference, but a more direct approach also meant Ben got more of a chance and did score twice, but so he remains grounded, we will remind him, it could have been a hat-trick. The benign dictator will probably claim it as a tactical masterclass from himself (we might give him this one).
Jacob scored the other, and the game was never really in doubt with Luke defending stoutly all day and the closest they came to scoring was hitting the post - and he had it covered!).
Jack was finding space all day on the right and created several great chances for Simon and Jacob. On the other side Conor was getting back to his old self - with support from Neil T. (Neil M must have been feeling lazy and took the 2nd half off, his work already done)

How many players does it take to make an umpire? (Ans: 3, and at the umpires 'deselection' meeting, the army had to be called to ensure calm remained - but warnings may have to be issued in terms of future behaviour, or so I am told).
