End of the run in Westworld

Westworld (or Tallaght as it is also known) was the location for this early morning match (and like the dystopian world in the TV series, it was nothing short of surreal - were we the robots -were we real- it was too early to figure out any of this existential stuff, so we just played hockey)
After the head honcho did his usual cattle drive earlier in the week (getting the team together for the match - similar to herding cats, they go in so many different directions - even re-using the extras from the cancelled Skerries match). So it was a bigger panel than usual. And surprisingly the same formation as last week, against a surprisingly strong side.
You could almost see the tumble weeds roll across the pitch before we started in the wide open spaces. And that wasn't the only Western genre tropes on the day, and we had our 6-shooters would have caused damage, rather than big wind ups. (the Sherriff/umpire, man with no name / Little Ben did actually score).
Like a TV series,there were the ever presents (Dylan, Simon, myself), along with the regular cast (Macker, Ciaran, Neil, Jacob & Tim) missing this weeks episode were Gordy, Jake and Jack (who seems to think you need all your fingers to play hockey, wait til you get older, as long as no more than 3 are broken/chipped/damaged, you can play on). Special guest was little Ben.
But 2 early goals in the first corner set the tome for the day and even though we got back to 2-1, it was not enough and a late goal for them just flattered - but the unbeaten run since November came to an end. We didn't even end up in the saloon...there's a cup match tomorrow and a rugby match on the telly.
