Ladies 1s despatch North Kildare with style!

North Kildare started strongly with a goal after 2 minutes, but Corinthians stuck to their game plan & soon started to control the game from the back. With well created running by the forwards & solid set plays overall, they were 3-1 up at half time, thanks to goals from Emma O'Brien, Leigh Pelow and Lauren McGrane.
Both sides battled it out without any further goals for the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half, but Corinthians began to dominate again towards the latter parts of the 2nd half, with 2 more excellent goals scored by Emma O'Brien & Alanah Quinsey from open play.
A well deserved result of 5-1 with an excellent team performance and notable games from Lynne Pomeroy & Sophie Maleady - the newly selected u18 players.
