Ladies 1s put 5 past Rathgar

Two goals in the first half, and three goals in the second against Rathgar were enough to secure Corinthians a solid win and the top spot in the table.

The game was very fast paced from the outset, but things soon settled after team captain Lauren McGrane scored the first goal. This was followed by an amazing top corner scored by Hannah McKay. The back 4 controlled the half from there with a notable performance from Debbie Young.

A much more composed second half resulted in the share of possession with multiple circle entires to match.
Jess McGrane was lethal at the top of the circle with 2 well deserved goals.

Rathgar played a clean and fast paced game, but were undone in the end by goals by Lauren McGrane, Jess McGrane x 2, Amber Kinlan and Hannah McKay.
