Reds reign supreme in Santry.

The Ladies 1’s put in an excellent performance to beat Trinity 2-0 and secure their 3rd win of 3 in the current EYHL2 campaign. 
Q1 was a very even affair with both teams creating chances but no goals. CHC were the dominant force in Q2 with Cilia Holdermann leading the way. In the 23rd min, a free to the Reds was quickly taken by Hannah McKay whose accurate pass to Lauren McGrane produced the first goal. Further chances fell to Milly Lynch, Nicola Torrans and Jodie Douglas after some excellent CHC team play, leaving the score 1-0 at half time. 
CHC started Q3 in similar fashion, with a a deflection by Sara Quill going narrowly wide. Trinity came more into the game with two penalty corners, one saved by Holly Micklem and the other blocked by Lynne Pomeroy. 
CHC cemented the win with a fine goal by Ciara Vincent in the 67th min. Overall a super team performance to delight the supporters on a cold winters afternoon.A busy few days concludes tomorrow (Sunday) with a Div 1 away fixture against Glenanne in St. Andrews at 2pm.
