Ladies 2s battle hard in Irish Junior Cup

The Ladies 2nds took on UCD 2nds today in the Irish Junior Cup.
On a bitterly cold evening in Whitechurch Park the ladies 2nds again put on a great display of hockey against UCD 2nds belying the gap of two divisions between the two teams. In a very even match that could have gone either way, unfortunately UCD came out on top.
There were some great performances from Lynn Pomeroy, Sophie Maleady and Gucci.
And an extra special mention for our amazing keeper Jess McGrane!!
