U14 Boys League Win

After a confidence boosting win in our Friday friendly against Glenannes the team began their league campaign today. Weston are always a tough team (they beat Three Rock Rovers 6-1 in their first league match recently) but Corinthians showed great skill and took the lead with a terrific goal from Jack Younge at the 19 minute mark, 1-0 at half time. A shakey start to the second half with Weston soon equalising and with the majority of play in our half things were not looking good, however the lads dug deep, fought hard and turned the flow of play to gain a last minute goal, again by Jack Younge. Some fine goalkeeping from Jude O Dwyer today too, well done lads!
