Come back Kings!
CHC boys learning how to fight back. After seeing their younger clubmates come back from 3 down the previous night the U16's did likewise. After going behind at 3-2 the lads looked dead and buried but led by Max Wright, Jack Keating, Craig Mackay, Dan Markey and Ross Howard they dug in and won the 3 points.
There were some excellent performances all round but special mention to the younger lads stepping up. Conor Walsh, Tom Bourke, Oscar Comerford, Micah Switzer, Andrew Browne & Luke Caldwell were all excellent.
Jack Keating had scored two crackers to go 2-1 up but we then lost concentration and were 3-2 behind. Then Ross Howard roofed a shot after a goalmouth melee and with just over 5 mins left Dan Markey finished off the best move of the day. Big thanks to Andrew Pollock for his great,late reaction save to bag all 3 points.
