In a very balanced match the 3rds came away with a creditable draw from Grange Road. In stark contrast to the previous week, the Corinthians goal came very early in the game (David Duggan is being blamed for being overly-eager with a drag flick from the first short corner), this then had to be defended for the rest of the match. TRR did break through just after half time when the sweeper and center back were having a quick nap and allowed a high lying forward to receive at the edge of the circle who then slotted home from a narrow angle. Both teams created chances after this, but none were converted. Taylor Sutton had a great first game back, but the difference this week was possibly the return of Gordon Lindsay and the injury to Dan Griffin, who did his alternative duty in umpiring a very clean game (Tim King's card notwithstanding).
