The 3rds made life a little difficult for themselves after rushing into a 3-1 lead by the middle of the first half and then conceding a penalty corner on the stroke of half time to go in at 3-2, only to let this slip to 3-4 behind only 5 mins into the 2nd half (Tom and Neil eventually woke up after their half time nap), but the team had enough in reserve to recover and win 6-4 in the end. Gavin scored a hat-trick to show that training the U-12s really does do wonders for your game (however Gordon's card also shows that he picked up some of the youngsters worse behavior when he received a green card from the umpire and he was sent to the naughty step). Matt Ralph continue his flick scoring streak this week and even managed to get it off the ground this time - 2 out of 2 ain't bad! Guy Banton's fine scoring form improved with 2 more goals and he is thinking of dispensing with the Zimmer frame for the next match. 5 wins in a row ... could become a habit - then what would the team do?
