The 3rd's had a good day out in Bray, with a small squad. The team started slowly but did assert control in the 1st half when Ultan Maguire got in front of his man to intercept brilliantly and set Conor Miles on his way to goal. This stayed the score until half time, but then the team became more dominant (must be all the fitness training!) and Macker stole Guy's normal goal at the back post from a short corner to give a 2-nil lead. The Ralph brothers then created havoc for the last 20 minutes, cards, goals and penalties .... (although Matt Ralph's celebration were a little muted after the stroke he converted, which he engineered himself with some great 3D skills - but it wouldn't be described as a 'Rocket'). Bring on North Kildare!
