Tactical changes get a result

A very experienced Avoca team really put it to the Reds today, last weekends heroics were not to be repeated so new tactics were needed in the 2nd half after we fell behind after fairly constant pressure in the first half. Aaron took the tactician aside at half time and importantly tweaked a few things and the game became more balanced there after, but sharp goal-keeping required on more than one occasion. After hanging in there for 68 minutes the game turned when Sam earned a short corner and after the initial flick form Frank was saved Aaron followed up and scored from close range ... A case of a draw won, every one came off feeling we got a result by hanging in past the tough start (not mentioning any timekeeping!)
