Our first loss in the league finally happened on Saturday evening, an away match in the Park Avenue grounds against home team Railway Union. Our lads weren't firing on all cylinders for whatever reason and have played to a higher standard on many occasions, but on the day, Railway played the better hockey. Despite a fantastic short corner by Conor Walsh that was deflected by mere millimetres and a goal shot by Ross Williams that bounced off the post Railway won the match 3-0.
Waldorf and Statler offer the correct opinion on the result, Boo Hiss....
Onwards and upwards!!!
